Henry McKinney

Managing Director

Henry has over 30 years experience in the construction industry while holding Directorship for over 22 years. He has amassed a wealth of knowledge & experience throughout the UK, Ireland and Canada.

He brings a deep passion for construction and a commitment to excellence that has been the cornerstone of his career. He has cultivated a strong track record of delivering complex projects that blend innovation with precision. His leadership philosophy centres on fostering a collaborative environment where the expertise of our team drives outstanding results. He is dedicated to advancing our company’s reputation as a trusted partner in both the private and public sectors, ensuring that every project we undertake not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our clients. His vision is to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in building and civil engineering, while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Henry is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health.

Seamus McKinney

Director

Joining the Family business back in 1999 as a junior Civil Engineer Seamus quickly Demonstrated his capabilities, which propelled him through the ranks from Engineer to Director.

Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in overseeing a diverse range of projects from urban development and transportation systems to large scale infrastructure initiatives.

From setting up Newtownstewart Ltd, Seamus carries out the role of overseeing the Human resource and operational part of the business dedicating time to nurture, the next generation of young people. As a leader, he emphasizes collaboration with our clients maintaining efficiency and health and safety at all times.

Paul McKinney

Director of SHEQ and Sustainability

Paul Mc Kinney graduated from Jordanstown University in 2005 with a Hons Degree in Construction Engineering & Management. Paul as built an impressive career by working his way up through the ranks of the family construction business, working in almost every role along the way. Starting from the ground up, Paul gained hands-on experience in various positions, developing a deep understanding of every aspect of the company’s operations. His commitment to growth and excellence saw him progress from Project Engineer to Project Manager, and eventually to his current role as Director of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ). Paul’s dedication to excellence and leadership abilities led to his current role as SHEQ Director within the company. His keen attention to detail and unwavering commitment to safety have been instrumental in maintaining Newtownstewart’s excellent safety record, ensuring that every employee returns home safely each day. Paul’s leadership continues to set the standard for safety and quality across the organisation have been key to the company’s success and stellar safety record.

Mark Stanley

Financial Director

Mark has 30 years experience in senior management and financial roles in property development and construction.

He has held both MD & FD roles  for a number of established property businesses with extensive commercial and financial knowledge of those sectors.

Proven track record in, commercial management, corporate finance, financial control and corporate governance from large scale operations managing £500m budgets to smaller scale start ups and joint ventures.
