The project consisted of the construction of the New North Wing to Altnagelvin Hospital, circa 14000m2 of new patient ward accommodation including 144 single occupancy bed spaces, our breif involved a majour bulk reduced dig, all excavations for the pad and beam foundations, all internal and external drainage, services infrastructure and external finishes. These works have to be carried out in avery confined site whilst keeping keenly aware of day to day hospital activities and accommodating these activities as necessary.
