The project is located on the Peckham Library Square & Flaxyard in Peckham, South East London, SE15 The design and construction of 139 units across five independent blocks which are on two different sites – 120 units on Flaxyard in three blocks, 19 units on the Library Square site in two blocks.
Flaxyard Site – Redevelopment of the site to provide 6 storey building to provide 39 no. flats on Sumner Road (Block B); 72 no. flats on Jocelyn Street (Block C); and a four storey block providing 9 flats on Melon Road (Block D), with 247m2 of flexible A1/A3/A4 use at ground floor level, together with car parking, hard and soft landscaping, and other associated works incidental to the development.
Scope included Reduce dig, piling, pile caps, ground beams, lift pit, installation of foundations/Slabs, retaining walls, Sub-station, disposal, all drainage, services, 278 works and hard landscaping.
Newtownstewart had to ensure that Work Inspection Records (WIR) are completed at the frequency identified in the agreed Inspection, Test and Approval Plan(ITAP).
Responsibility for all method statements, risks assessments and COSHH, traffic plans, design calculations notes, detailed design drawings and shop drawings and construction programme to include design elements of the works, schedule of deliverable with dates, Health and Safety documentation as part of the Design process were all necessary to complete our works.
