The refurbishment of the Foyle Hotel to modernise the property while enhancing its unique charm and guest experience. The project focused on upgrading the hotel’s facilities, redesigning interiors, and improving operational efficiency. A Full strip out and new efficient and modern M&E design, Fire Risk Assessment to upgrade to current regulations, full kitchen design to current environmental health regs. The refurbishment also involved updating guest rooms with contemporary furnishings, improved lighting, and modern bathrooms to offer greater comfort. Public areas, such as the lobby and dining spaces, was redesigned to create a welcoming and cohesive atmosphere that reflects the hotel’s character.
The project also integrated advanced technology, including high-speed internet and smart room features, to meet the expectations of those living in our contemporary world. Sustainability was a key aspect of the refurbishment, with the introduction of energy-efficient systems and eco-friendly materials throughout the hotel. The goal was to elevate the hotel’s appeal to a broader audience, increase occupancy rates, and enhance its market positioning as a distinctive and desirable accommodation option, all while maintaining its original charm.
